UW Bioengineering alumna Amanda Woodcock (B.S., Yager lab, 2015), was profiled in a “Talent Spotlight” article by Product Design Studio, a Seattle-area product development and engineering firm. In the article, Amanda discusses discovering the field of product development as a senior at UW and how she decided to pursue the field as a career. “I love being in the trenches, brainstorming and coming up with solutions to the most difficult problems,” she explains. She also talks about her experience teaching at a one-room school in South Africa before beginning work at Product Design Studio, and how she spends her free time swing dancing and 3D printing gifts for friends.
