UW Bioengineering senior Hunter Bennett (Woodrow Lab) has been awarded the UW College of Engineering Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence for 2014. This honor reflects Hunter’s hard work, leadership, and tremendous contributions to the Department of Bioengineering during his time here. Congratulations, Hunter!
The Dean’s Medal is awarded to two College of Engineering graduating seniors students annually. Selection criteria include grades, rigor and distribution of courses, research experience, extracurricular activities, and leadership. These awards will be formally presented at the Community of Innovator Awards ceremony on May 15, 2014 from 12:00pm-1:30pm in the Colleen Room at the UW Club. Dean’s Medal recipients will also act as Gonfaloniers (banner carriers) for the College of Engineering at the UW Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
