Led by Patrick Stayton, Distinguished Career Professor of Bioengineering, the UW Molecular Engineering & Sciences Institute (MolES) partnered with the Gladstone Institutes to host a seminar series that gives speakers a national platform to have candid conversations around race and diversity in STEM fields. Launched in 2020, the Amplified: Race and Reality in STEM series is hosted in partnership with Georgia Tech, UW MolES and the University of Texas at Austin. Learn how this series came to be.
