UW Bioengineering senior Cameron Nemeth was recently selected as one of six BMES Undergraduate Design and Research Awardees for BMES 2013. Cameron received the award at the BMES Annual Town Hall and Awards Ceremony at the BMES Annual Meeting in Seattle on Thursday, September 26.

Cameron was also named as  a 2013-14 recipient of a Washington Research Foundation Fellowship.

A member of assistant professor Deok-Ho Kim’s lab since Dr. Kim’s arrival at UW Bioengineering in 2011, Cameron is a first author of the lab’s recently submitted research manuscript, “Enhanced In Vitro Chrondrogenesis of Dental Pulp Stem Cells by Nanopatterned Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogels”, for the Tissue Engineering Journal .
