INVENTING THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE
Matthew O'Donnell, professor of bioengineering and dean emeritus of the College of Engineering at UW, is recognized “for leadership in biomedical ultrasonics and medical imaging technologies.”
To help lead the next major wave in medical diagnosis and treatment, the University of Washington is planning a molecular imaging center to bring individualized, precision medicine to patients. The UW held a symposium on Feb. 16, bringing leading researchers to campus to join in discussions shaping the new center.
UW Bioengineering Professor Matthew O'Donnell has received the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Award for Excellence in Biomedical Technology.
