UW Bioengineering associate professor Albert Folch has been elected to the AIMBE College of Fellows Class of 2015, bringing the department’s total number of AIMBE Fellows to 20.

AIMBE, or the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering,is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving lives through medical and biological engineering. Dr. Folch joins a distinguished group of more than 1,000 other fellows from academia,industry and government who have made significant contributions to bioengineering research, industrial practice, and education.
