UW Bioengineering Assistant Professor Deok-Ho Kim has been appointed as the EMBS (Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society) Representative to the IEEE Nanotechnology Council. He will serve in this appointment through December 31, 2018. In this role, he will support EMBS on teleconferences or at scheduled meetings, and submit representative reports to IEEE EMBS leadership.
The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology society is the world’s largest international society of biomedical engineers. The organization’s 9,100 members reside in 97 countries around the world.
