The Department of Bioengineering participated in the annual Engineering Discovery Days event hosted by the UW College of Engineering. BIOE hosted a set of 9 modules involving over 75 student, faculty, and staff volunteers. The modules covered everything from programming cells with synthetic biology, to molecular diagnostics, and exploring the unique pumping capabilities of the heart.
