James Bryers, UW professor of bioengineering, presented at March 29’s South Lake Union (SLU) Collaborative event. The SLU Collaborative is a collaborative effort of UW Medicine, and Seattle’s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Allen Institute to provide a formal infrastructure for sharing knowledge and accelerating science. The SLU Collaborative hosts a quarterly seminar series with the goal to provide a forum that fosters networking and ideas, and to promote greater synergy among the research and tech industry partners in the SLU neighborhood.
Dr. Bryers presented along with Greg Johnson, Ph.D., scientist at the Allen Institute, and Matthias Stephan, M.D., Ph.D., an associate member of Fred Hutch’s Clinical Research Division. The researchers presented their current research and developments in the field of bioengineering.
