UW Bioengineering Research Associate Professor Lara Gamble has been named as Fellow of AVS (American Vacuum Society).
This fellowship recognizes AVS members who have made sustained and outstanding scientific and technical contributions in areas of interest to AVS. This award is the premier membership recognition for this professional society.

Dr. Gamble will be publicly honored at an awards ceremony at the 62nd AVS International Symposium and Exhibition this October in San Jose, Calif.
