UW Bioengineering professor Dr. Lawrence Crum received the highest award offered by the Acoustical Society of America, Gold Medal, on June 5, 2013 at the joint meeting of the International Congress on Acoustics/Acoustical Society of America/Canadian Acoustical Association in Montreal, Canada. This prestigious award recognizes Dr. Crum’s discovery and invention in physical and biomedical acoustics, and for his leadership in acoustics worldwide.
