UW Bioengineering professor Ruikang Wang was recently elected into AIMBE. Dr. Wang will join the organization’s College of Fellows Class of 2015 alongside fellow faculty member Dr. Albert Folch, also joining the College of Fellows in 2015, and 19 other fellows from the Department of Bioengineering.

AIMBE, or the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering,is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving lives through medical and biological engineering. Dr. Wang joins a distinguished group of more than 1,000 other fellows from academia,industry and government who have made significant contributions to bioengineering research, industrial practice, and education.
